Scheduling
Excel Dent Clinic is open Monday - Friday from 9 am until 8 pm, Saturday from 9 am until 2 pm. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. However, due to the fact that the practice provides emergency and surgical services, unforeseen delays may occur. But this is not a common situation! We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Please call the office with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
Appointments
We reserve time just for you. Appointments are carefully scheduled so you will be best served. Please be on time so we can perform all the treatment that has been scheduled. If you must reschedule, please allow at least 2 business days notice to reschedule a non-surgical appointment and 4 days for a surgical appointment. Cancellation fees in the amount of 25% of the fees to be charged may be added to your account if proper notice is not given.
First Visit
Your first visit will be a thorough evaluation followed by a discussion of our findings. So that we can properly prepare you, we typically do not schedule initial exams and treatment on the same day; we want to make sure you have all the information you need, and that all of your questions are answered prior to any treatment being provided. We would like you to be aware that there is a fee associated with your first visit. If you would like more information about that, please contact us.
Preparation for your first visit
Please complete your patient registration form at the dental office or you may fill it out online (click here for online pacient registration form or to make an appointment). It is important that you list any medications, allergies or other pertinent information that could affect your dental care. Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).
We are available to respond to your concerns and encourage you to ask questions at any time. We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
If you have been referred by another dentist, please be sure we will have all the information related to your referral prior to your first visit.
X-Rays
If your former dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken later. At least a recent panoramic X-rays is necessary for a treatment plan and diagnosis.
IMPORTANT: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.
